Canadian-born e-commerce site Ssense have teamed up with FKi, newly-signed Interscope rapper Iggy Azalea (not to be confused for Azealia Banks) and Grammy-nominated Diplo to create a shoppable music video for the premiere of their new song ‘I Think She Ready‘. While the video concept is nothing more groundbreaking than 90% of Nineties rap videos, the video was styled entirely by Ssense and allows to you shop every piece of fashion the trio are wearing – down to accessories – directly through “Ssense hotspots” in the video. I cannot wait to see this become a production trend. Just imagine…Lady Gaga’s clickable Mugler…Beyonce’s Dereon…the opportunities for music and fashion to merge are only getting more and more interesting.
