I don’t always appreciate the clothing from Balenciaga. The brand is a go-to name in the accessories arena but generally doesn’t push it quite far enough for my taste when it comes to apparel.
After seeing the Fall 2010 cam[aign, I now feel like designer Nicholas Ghesquière took a peek into my head and gave me exactly what I’ve expected over the past few seasons. Hiring now-models Eliza Cummings, Freja Beha Erichsen, Julija Stepanoviciute, Kirsi Pyrohnen, Karen Elson, Meghan Collison, Mirte Maas and Stella Tennant to work his creations into the limelight, the puritanical shoot has become much more than I expected.
