Longtime hairstylist to ‘The Hair’ (aka Jennifer Aniston) Chris McMillan convinced the megastar to transform herself into original “Funny Girl” Barbra Streisand for the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar. Mark Seliger was the photographer to this strange shoot which recreated a number of Streisand signatures from her classics “Funny Girl” (1968) and “What’s Up Doc?” (1972).
Above left she is she sporting wearing a mod bob, heavily lined eyes, Chopard earrings, a gold Gianfranco Ferré dress, and the expected acrylic claws. In the second image, Aniston reimagines Streisand’s wardrobe fitting for the role of “Funny Girl” Fanny Brice in a faux fur leopard-print Moschino coat, Albertus Swanepoel hat, and Louis Vuitton pumps.
