I call for a round of applause in the name of Central Saint Martin‘s Hussein Chalayan. In an intimate gallery in Le Marais, the wunderkind commentated over a short film he had directed as an alternative to a runway show. This is a collection with a plethora of complexity. Influenced by the “surreal aspects of Japanese culture“, tunics and circle-cut shorts were so on target they actually looked like they were floating. This is a unrestrictedly gifted designer.
