Before dancing my life into oblivion at Kensington Roof Gardens last Saturday, I was lucky enough to be invited for a pre-boogie boogie and last London supper alongside the superbabes of Steve Madden UK.
The brand very kindly hosted Charlie, Stephanie, Serah, and I for dinner at Trullo before whisking us off to the 02 Academy for a concert with their latest Steve Madden magazine cover star, Charli XCX. Having helped support and launch the careers of Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, the All American Rejects and more, it was especially fun to don my favourite (cough, only) flats – The Graanite – and join the Steve Madden team in the hair-whipping adrenaline of a live Charlie XCX experience.
After spending much of the 90s lusting after Steve Madden’s iconic chunky platforms, that Saturday night was a spectacular way to sign off the last three years of career-building and blogging in London (having resulted in these sort of weirdly wonderful opportunities).
