My original plan for saying ‘see ya’ to London was some after-work drinks with my boyfriend, his lovely colleagues, and a few more mutual friends last Friday. Then London Lux invited me to host a VIP table at Kensington Roof Gardens (or ‘The Roof Gardens’). The rest, as they say, was terribly hazy history.
Though London Lux also have guest lists in Barcelona and Madrid, they have definitely come into their own in Great Ol’ LDN Town, manning the lists of Funky Buddha, Cirque le Soir, DSTRKT, and more of the city’s best night haunts.
I couldn’t think of a better way to leave the city.
Making our way through a fair few watering cans of cocktails, vodka and who knows what else, a small group of us danced our feet to pieces into the early hours of the morning. Even with a cross-country road trip scheduled to start a few hours later, it was impossible to refuse the fun of an all-nighter like this.
Next trip back to London definitely calls for a repeat.
