When Onecklace got in contact to – very kindly – offer me a name necklace, the first thing that popped into my head was Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and The City. Though her infamous ‘Carrie necklace‘ was rather unimpressive when compared to her closet of designer jewellery, it is one of the most iconic fashion pieces the show’s fans identify with.
Unlike Carrie, I have a preference for silver jewellery and two-name name necklaces so opted for the beauty you see above (which, thanks to a strong yellow chroma light, has a slight golden tint). Thus far, every day I have worn it I have been inundated with compliments. In fact, the two photos it has appeared in on Instagram over the past week have, hands down, received the most likes and interaction. I believe there is something a bit magical about wearing ‘you’ loud and proud for the world to see.
