Now that we are in the grey space between the 2012 Olympics and Paralympic games, it only seems suitable to take a fashionable trip down memory’s lane to London 1908. These Olympics were the fifth official Games at the time, are were actually scheduled to be held in Rome but were relocated due to a volcanic eruption. GB won the most medals – natch – even with these ladies drowning in full ‘sportswear’. Boy, have times changed.
