Though all of the talent nominated were more than deserving to leave the 2011 CFDA Awards with tropy in hand, I could not be happier with last night’s results. What a perfect group. (Each category’s winner is in bold.)

Swarovski Award for Womenswear: Joseph Altuzarra, Ashley Olsen & Mary-Kate Olsen, and Prabal Gurung.
Swarovski Award for Menswear: Alexander Wang, Phillip Lim, and Robert Geller.
Swarovski Award for Accessory Design: Alejandro Ingelmo, Eddie Borgo, Jason Wu, and Pamela Love
The Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award: Marc Jacobs
The Fashion Icon Award: Lady Gaga
The Eugenia Sheppard Media Award: Hilary Alexander of The Telegraph
