There was lots of straightforward subtlety on showcase at BCBG yesterday. Continuing their Spring/Summer trend, the Fall/Winter show was full of sensible, simple pieces over white turtlenecks. While I think it’s great to see Celine-like minimalism at a friendlier price point, Max and Lubov Azria should be worried that they are alienating their trend-happy, versatile customers. I’ve worked for Azria, and know that these type of pieces just don’t sell through their concessions. The five best pieces are below.
