All guests of last night’s Giles shindig were summoned (yes, the invitation was a fashionable summons) to enter through the metal detectors of a court house. I invariably have a concoction of ideas for Mr. Deacon, yet my premonition is always positive. For Fall/Winter 2011, everything exhibited much more sophistication. Black and white were the prevailing colours, with special attention paid to black Swarovski beading, and every noggin was topped with a refined bow. Giles hit it on the head.
