Deadline reported late last week that Natalia Vodianova would star opposite Johnathan Rhys Meyers in Belle du Seigneur, an adaptation of a late 1960s novel of the same name from writer Albert Cohen.
This will be movie number two for Vodianova after premièring as Medusa in Clash of the Titans. Belle du Seigneur will show her as a WWII-era married Swiss woman who falls in love with a Jewish soldier (that’s Meyers). The movie will be filmed on location in Geneva and around Italy starting in late October, set to debut sometime in 2011.
