Carlos Miele‘s New York Fashion Week show was inspired by the fragility of butterflies and Pink Floyd’s “Another Brick in the Wall,” the samba version, that is, performed by fellow Brazilian Bebel Gilberto. Somehow, I see it. Miele is huge for red-carpet value, always pulling out very sexy and glamorous pieces that hug curves and display camera-loving detailing. This season, he did sheer in the most perfect way and supported Ivanka Trump‘s jewelry by throwing in some of her rose-gold and cut-crystal necklaces. The wow piece was a one-shoulder black tulle gown that showcased Miele’s talent for hand-detailing via geometric spidery stitching and draped loops of fabric. Hubba hubba.
